 The thing I find most odd about writing is my writing journals.  I have lots of ideas so I jot them down, then when I go back to them, I think “did I write that”?

 This is one of those. It is from my school car line journal.

 alternate between the before and after

 Is there something more

 waiting is the lesson

 patience with time

 follow the pathway

 stay in line

how does it feel to be the person looking in from outside

 you may not notice them

 They know how to survive

 It takes some time to see the look

 of sadness on their face

 Some never notice the eyes

 they never offer grace

 Once the look is spotted

 it can be found everywhere

 all it takes is peace and kindness

 to get rid of despair

The dream is back

Oh, there you are all yellow and white.

 It is so good to see all of the light.

 Where have you been, did you go away?

 All I could find was a dull shade of gray.

 I’m your dream, I’m still here.

 You forgot about me.

 I had to wait for you to see.

 The gifts have been here for you all these years,

 they were hidden behind all the tears.

 Now paint, write poems, and help others to heal.

 You will shine. This time it is real!

 The sky is black and filled with stars

 do you know I put them there

 The morning is light because of the sun

 Did you know I designed it just for you

 Every thing I made I made for you

 Every ounce of creativity on Earth

 I have given to you

 stand back and observe

 take in everything

 do not rush do not rush

the lacking

 sometimes creativity hits a wall

 then I feel like I am going to fall

 the sadness can take over at times

 when I can’t think of anything that rhymes

 it leaves me without a place for the black

 a place to put it a way

the beauty

 It is a gift to notice the beauty

 The way a tree is formed

 The colors of the sky

 the way the clouds make shapes

 all pleasant to the eye

 is a blessing to me

 To write what I feel

 makes it seem real

 to share my truth with you

 might help you dream too

 Find your dream and you will know

 which was you should go

The blocks

 take out a piece

 clean it off

 put it back

 maybe eventually

 the black will leave me

 one by one the pieces

 will start to shine

 a little at first

 but they will get stronger

 and more illuminated

 with time……
